Our Story

FLORIDABOYFOOD is a black owned Southern Style Restaurant developed by an eclectic artist from Tampa, Fl. This brain child has been in development for many years with the mission of bringing back the family tradition of sitting down at the table and enjoying a hearty meal cooked from the soul. The company’s first appearance in Los Angeles was April of 2020 when they cooked and catered for ER doctors and nurses for one of the first Covid testing Pop-ups in Culver City. Since then they have evolved and expanded into a fully functioning restaurant under an Orange tent preparing every item on the menu all the way down to the honeycomb biscuits!

In the Kitchen

It all started when I attended an event where the caterer flaked! Luckily enough for the guest I was in the house and ready to chef it up! I immediately went into the kitchen and prepared my famous fried chicken and chips then went to enjoy the party like everyone else! As I was mingling, folks were nudging me complimenting the food not knowing I just threw down in the kitchen! From that day forward, the Floridaboyfood was created!
